CCC certification is "China Compulsory Certification", its English name is "China Compulsory Certification", abbreviated as CCC. The CCC certification mark is "CCC", which was formulated by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration Commission in accordance with the "Compulsory Product Certification Management Regulations" (Order No. 5 of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China).

CCC certification implements the national mandatory safety certification for the products involved. The main contents are summarized in the following aspects:

(1) In accordance with relevant WTO agreements and internationally accepted rules, the state implements a unified mandatory product certification system for products involving human health and safety, animal and plant life safety and health, and environmental protection and public safety. The National Certification and Accreditation Administration Commission is in charge of the management and implementation of the national mandatory product certification system.

(2) The main features of the national compulsory product certification system are that the country publishes a unified catalogue, determines uniformly applicable national standards, technical rules, and implementation procedures, formulates unified signs, and stipulates uniform charging standards. All products listed in the compulsory product certification catalog must be certified by a nationally designated certification body, obtain relevant certificates and be affixed with a certification mark before they can be shipped from the factory, imported, sold and used in business services.

(3) According to China ’s WTO commitments and the principle of embodying national treatment, the products covered by the “First Batch of Product Catalogues Implementing Compulsory Product Certification” announced this time are based on the original import safety and quality permit system and mandatory safety certification and electromagnetic Based on the compatible certified products, an appropriate increase or decrease has been made.

(4) The country uses a unified "CCC" mark for compulsory product certification. After the implementation of China's mandatory certification mark, it will gradually replace the original "Great Wall" mark and "CCIB" mark.

(5) The country uniformly determines the mandatory product certification charging items and standards. The formulation of new charging items and charging standards will be based on the principle of not making profits and embodying national treatment, comprehensively considering the current charging situation, and referring to similar overseas certified charging items and charging standards.

(6) The new compulsory product certification system will be implemented on May 1, 2002, and the relevant certification bodies will officially start accepting applications. In order to ensure a smooth transition between the new and old systems, the original product safety certification system and the import safety and quality permit system will be abolished from August 1, 2003.

CCC certification mark

The current "CCC" certification mark is divided into four categories, namely:

1. CCC + S safety certification mark

2. CCC + EMC electromagnetic compatibility certification mark

3. CCC + S & E safety and electromagnetic compatibility certification mark

4. CCC + F fire certification mark
